A berry merry Christmas lippy

Another Blogmas post today and it comes in the form of a lipstick Mrs Claus would wear herself. We associated red as the colour of Christmas for obvious reasons but when it comes to have red lips, I am there. I adore red lippy all year round to be honest.

However the festive period is always the time to wear the bold colour and here is one that will definitely do the job.

Let us have a berry merry Christmas...

MUA VELVET LIP LACQUER, "FLAIR", £3

I proper adore how the dark red matches my new hair colour like this pleases me a lot!
So the colour itself is a burgundy red with hints of black/brown in there, one for people who love bold, dark autumnal lips.
Moving onto the application, it was a bit of a pain to get an even coat on, sometimes it goes on unevenly so a second coat is a good idea. It does dry in seconds so you don't have to wait to get the matte velvet finish, which is good. The brush applicator is alright but you cant go over your lips as it takes it off, leaving it patchy, but it is soft and it does do the job most of the time.
Two things though. It is an absolute pain to get off, like I thought I was stubborn but this wins, and it does bleed out bit if you having food and drink, especially with the latter, making it to crack as well so taking this in your bag is a must.
However, the colour and overall finish on the lips makes this a good value product and one definitely to get into the Christmas spirit!

And there you go, another Blogmas post done and dusted!
Until next time
